Great game, I would love to see more of it.

Thank you ^.^

Please make it on mobile or a bowser it looks so good

Once I'm more familiar with the engine, I'll release both web and mobile versions ^.^

YIPPEE

Like others have said, this is a great example of a prototype. Once you understand how to cheese it, it's easy to try and max out your size - but, then, you realize that there is a limit, and it's the number of contracts you can take. You hit a point where you're clicking next and taking contracts just hoping for the belly to get bigger, but it's kinda luck-based. Was disappointing to realize I wouldn't actually figure out how big the belly could get, lol.

Still: fun and simple project that has a well-designed model.

Yes, the balance definitely needs to be reworked. It's quite a challenge to make the game fun, engaging, and somewhat realistic all at once.

At the moment, there are 144 belly stages (images), but theoretically, you could keep playing forever. ^.~ The limitation through contracts is intentional by design. In the future, I plan to implement a 'Reputation' system, where your decisions and actions will influence both the quantity and quality of available contracts (trips to the hospital reduce your Reputation for example).

I think "prototype" is a good descriptor for this game. The model is pretty good and the gameplay loop isn't bad but there just isn't anything else to mess around with. I think this could be developed further into something amazing but it feels a lot more like a tech demo for the moment. Perhaps still worth checking out though.

This was my first attempt at making a game. During the game jam, I came up with lots of ideas that I'd love to add in the future, and I built the game's system with that in mind.

Hopefully, it will one day evolve into a fun and comprehensive simulation/management game :)

(1 edit)

Are there plans to develop this into something more after the jam? As it is right now, while a neat idea, doesn't exactly offer a lot of content, even without "cheating" via free Massage oil, once you understand the system it doesn't take long before you clean out the client list, and still have capacity to spare, making it impossible to stay above 100 current progress for long at a time, most of the time sitting somewhere around 80-90 progress, sometimes dipping even lower than that too

My current plans for after the game jam:

  • a balance and bug fix (creating a Discord server for better Bug reports)
  • random Event system and more story/npc characters
  • a starting perk system and skill tree
  • more belly stages and custom scenes
  • different types of simulation like breast growth(laction), weight gain etc.

Not sure about the order but balance and bug fix will come first

Yo

Not bad. Really not bad. I'm just a little embarrassed because I don't know if the character is a minor, but I won't change my comment on that point.

I like:
-Very nice 3D. This is one of the first times I've seen one that's truly attractive. I'm mainly talking about the textures, the type of model, and the final rendering. (No, the glasses have nothing to do with it XD)
-The different positions are well done.
-Simple and effective story that doesn't hide anything.
-Simple and accessible gameplay.
-I really like the little management aspect.

Like Less:
-I'd just give a little minus for some belly shapes that are a bit too spherical towards the bottom and break the harmony of the 3D model.
-A little tutorial wouldn't hurt. I had to start over four times before I got the hang of it.
-Even if the story allows you to avoid wasting time, we still want to know more.

Bug:
-When you exceed a certain value, your money goes into negative territory, and everything you earn makes you lose money.

Final point:

For a first version, it's really not bad. The character used has an attractive aesthetic without being over the top. The interface and gameplay are easy to learn; it's certainly repetitive, but it's a start. Add to that the various pauses that allow you to not notice the time passing. However, a short tutorial would be nice. Overall, your project seems very well done.

I admit to being interested in the progress of your project (No, the glasses have nothing to do with it XD), which is still in its infancy. Rest assured that I will follow your work in the future, and I wish you all the best. Thank you for working on this pleasant surprise and for bringing it to our attention. Good work and see you soon. :)

Thank you for your detailed feedback.

The main character is between 21-23 years old. I used real word values from young adult woman to do some of the calculation (belly volume) even though for the art style i used more anime/comic proportions.

Your best friend gives you a few hints at the beginning, but I’ll add a proper tutorial once I’m sure which additions will become part of the main gameplay loop.

Bug report: buying items doesn't seem to take money? I just buy 9999999 of each and the game's challenge is gone.

Yeah something not working right there. Pain killers does seem to work and take money for me. Massage oil, it seems you can buy as many as you have money for each day, but it never actually deduct money from you, so you can easily get way more belly capacity than you can use in just a handfull of days. Scented candle neither subtract money, nor seem to have any effect on the stress, despite it is supposed to reduce stress

I will look into it. They should all use the same system.

Expected behavior: you can buy as many as you have money for. Currently you should be able to still click the button if you can not afford it but you should not get benefits.

When the bug happens does the value update to the right number when hitting next?

Do you still get the benefits from the items you can not afford?

(1 edit)

The bug always seems to happen at any stage of the game, and in all new playthroughs as well

Pain killers: Works as you would expect (takes your money, reduces pain, and can't buy them if you don't have the 20$ asking price)

Massage Oil: Doesn't take your money, but does increase belly capacity, but only can buy as many as you have money for each day, before it stops increasing belly capacity. (ie. if you have $20, you can increase you belly capacity twice that day, before it stops increasing it anymore, BUT you will still have $20 after those 2 purchases, that you could spend on a pain killer if needed, or keep for next day to use for more massage oils then, if you have $1000, you can get it 100 times, so on and so forth)

Scented candles: Does not work AT ALL, doesn't take your money, and doesn't reduces stress. However if you do attempt to buy as many (or more), than you would be able to afford that day, it does block you from buying the Massage Oil, so seems like they are being bought with the same pool of "phantom" money as Massage Oil, just not having any effect

Hope this formatting and more detailed info makes it a bit easier to understand, and keep track off

Thank you for reporting it

good work, i just hit a cealing where contracts wouldn’t pop up fast enough to keep my capacity up at around 250 so it slowly went down to around 80

Nice! At the moment, there are 144 belly stages (images), which roughly equals the size of about 16 full-term babies. After the first balance patch, it should be much harder to reach that number. Future updates will also introduce a lot more to do before players can even get close to the maximum.

Cute little simulation, not much to it, but the model grows great.

Thank you. I had lots of fun and will continue working on it ^w^
